It’s back to school in France and most of the world. (a rentrée).

The big news is we pulled or daughter out of her French Scholl and enrolled her in an international school.
The decision waist easy especially since it’s not cheap but not nearly as expensive as private international schools in other countries.

The curriculum at the international school will be taught in English and French which might be a shock to my daughters system. She has only attended French schools her whole life. (9 years total from the age of 4 years old)..

I was stunned by the reading list the school gave us of books we had to buy.

(Some are in the photo below.)

Some of the books were English books and some were in French.

Funny to see Lord of the flies and animal farm on the list of books to read. Not a typical book French students to read.

Autobiographie d'une Courgette is an excellent French book to read.

At the end of this year, we’ll see if sending our daughter to an international school was a good one.

The kids work towards passing the Cambridge English test.

Wish us luck.. (at Montpellier, France)

I’ve never heard of #glooters. Based on the photos and the text on the box, they are like gummy shooter cocktails which you put on the back of your hand and eat them. Why the back of the hand? No idea. They claim to be France’s first edible cocktail...
